Metropolis - Upcoming Shows

Greetings Metropolis is a fun band playing Classic Rock with some Funk and Dance. Our repertoire is designed to make people dance, have a great time and be involved in the music. We are all accomplished and experienced musicians and performers, and it is our joy to ROCK you!! We invite you to come out and have fun with us.... We do recommend calling the club ahead of time just in case of the rare occurence of a last minute schedule change.


Upcoming events Sat, July 4, 2009 9:00 pm 4th Of July @ The Mutineer The Mutineer Restauraunt 11 S.E. 1st Ave. Florida City Florida (MAP) See some FIREWORKS and then come dance with us! A great way to spend the 4th, and we will NOT be covering the passing of Michael Jackson. Of course we're not a news organization, but hey, you'll still get a break. The Wharf Lounge in The Mutineer is a nice warm well established landmark at the southern end of the Turnpike. Nice sized dancefloor, full bar, and they a have a disco ball. Granted, it's a very small disco ball, but there it is perched at the ceiling, sprinkling dance inspiration upon all the dancers. We always have fun at The Mutineer, so we invite you to come share in that fun. Mario Carvajall will be playing drums with us. We will be playing from 9pm to 1am. (I heard the term THROW DOWN in a movie - it sounds like a good marketing slanguage term) Little Hoolies is a thriving, surviving live music landmark located next to The Outback Steak House (cows can't really live in the outback, can they?) in the Briar Bay Shopping Plaza across the street from The Falls. We will be having the world famous Mario Carvajall sitting in on drums, and cymbals, and the cow bell. Can't have too much cow bell especially when you're playing next to a steak house. The Cutler Bay Sports Bar used to be The Shipwreck Tavern after it was The Saga Lounge. It has quite a history with live music. For those of you that don't know, it's across the street from Rumors which used to be O.C.s after it was TexMex! A lot of music on that block! We'll be rocking the joint on this coming Friday from 10:00 until 2:00. A lot of the staff from some ofthe other clubs come here after work. It's a pretty hard rockin' place! Fri, January 30, 2009 9:30 pm Return To Rumors Rumors Bistro and Bar 20537 Old Cutler Road Cutler Bay Florida 33189 (MAP) For those of you that don't know, Rumors is very nice place with great food, A BIG DANCE FLOOR, no smoking inside, couches in the raised area and A NICE STAGE. This is our first time back here this year, and with Live Music having such a tentative hold in this area, we need a strong turnout to help keep it happening. HELP SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC! So anyone that can make it out, PLEASE DO. And maybe you could bring your neighbors and their cousins...
